GCSE Physics

The GCSE Physics course has the following aims; to stimulate and sustain an interest in, and enjoyment of, Physics and its applications.

To provide a suitable end point for those not intending studying Physics further and also for those who will undertake further studies or take up careers for which a physics background is relevant. It is designed to develop an understanding of the processes of scientific methodology; to provide a worthwhile experience for all. Finally, it is intended to develop an awareness of the social, economic and environmental implications of applied technology.
