Spring term 2012

This term we have been discovering more about materials, particularly irreversible changes. Mrs Jenkins and the pupils of 6AJ were kindly given a Friendship Cake by Mr and Mrs Edwards,which was then used to demonstrate the theory that they had learned. An educational and mouth-watering lesson.

Autumn term 2011

The first topic in year 6 is MATERIALS. We have been investigating properties, creating our own experiments and designing collages. We are currently working on a Scientific Shopping Channel activity; linking drama in with science.
