Story openings
Improving the openings of our stories has been our focus in English. We have been looking at ways of 'hooking' our reader in and looked at lots of good examples by some of our favourite authors. Then we watched a film clip which inspired us to write our own openings. We decided to begin with either questions, action, dialogue or description. Have a look at some of our work and come back shortly to see how we got on with writing story endings!
