Choir sing on the new Infant Stage
On Monday the choir sang at the opening of the new Infant playground stage. The P.T.A. agreed to support and finance this project. All the children will now be able to play and perform during their break times. This is a great new outdoor resource which will enhance the teaching and learning of literacy and communication skills too.
To all concerned, thank you.

Nursery have had fun playing lots of different instruments. To link with their current science theme they have used spoons made of different materials as beaters! They have also used paper to accompany their singing.

Reception
Following on from their Bear Hunt activities, Reception enjoyed discovering the different sounds percussion instruments could make. They then made their very own piece of 'Bear Hunt' music!
Year 1

We can keep a steady beat!
A conductor helps us to keep a steady beat.

We can play a rhythm while others keep a steady beat!
Year 2
Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, baked banana.....yummy! Year 2 had great fun saying and playing food rhythms. They made some tasty stir-fry music too for their Chinese New Year assembly.
